Main task(s) in SOLRESS
Within the SOLRESS project, AUA leads Work Package 3, which focuses on the optimization of acetic acid production and the in situ electrochemical extraction using lignocellulosic-derived sugars and CO₂ effluents. In addition, AUA contributes to Work Package 5, which involves enzyme development for the production of bio-based solvents derived from lactic acid and acetic acid. Finally, the experimental results obtained from the bioprocess optimization within the SOLRESS project will be evaluated using sustainability indicators through a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) under Work Package 8.
