Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant (BBEPP) is an open-access facility specialising in the development, scale-up, and custom manufacturing of biobased processes and products. Operating from lab to multi-ton scale, BBEPP converts renewable feedstocks into biochemicals, biomaterials, biofuels, and other bioproducts through advanced technologies such as biocatalysis, fermentation, green chemistry, and product purification.
Main task(s) in SOLRESS
In SOLRESS, BBEPP will scale up LA fermentation, optimize the downstream processing cascade and integrate the fermentation and purification unit at pilot level.
