The team involved in SOLRES is located at the Institute of Catalysis and Petrochemistry (ICP), dedicated to new technological solutions in the field of sustainable chemistry.

Main task(s) in SOLRESS

In SOLRESS, CSIC leads Work Package 6, focusing on wood pretreatment and the production of bio-based platform molecules, including furfural and gamma-valerolactone (GVL), key intermediates for sustainable chemical processes.

CSIC is also responsible for data management and open science activities.
